How Chaturbate payouts work: minimums, fees, and when the money actually arrives

Updated September 23, 2026

Chaturbate pays broadcasters twice a month, seven business days after each period ends, once your balance passes a minimum that depends on how you asked to be paid. That minimum is $50 for most methods and $200 for cryptocurrency and FedEx cheques. Tokens are worth 5 cents each to you, so $50 is 1,000 tokens and $200 is 4,000. Below the minimum nothing is sent and the balance rolls into the next period.

This page sets out what each method costs, when the money moves, and the one step people miss that leaves their earnings sitting on the platform for an extra fortnight. Figures were read from the network's own help pages on 23 September 2026; they are the network's to change, and if you find them out of date we would rather hear about it than have you trust us over them.

JustTheCams is a directory. We list rooms and we are paid by the network for people who sign up through us; we never touch a broadcaster's money and we cannot see anyone's balance. Everything below happens on the network itself, and the broadcasting guide covers what comes before any of it — verification, equipment and what a streaming week adds up to.

The fees matter more than they look

The headline numbers are the minimums. The number that actually decides which method to pick is the fee, because two methods are free and the rest are not, and at the size of an early payout a flat fee is a large percentage.

Worked against each method's own minimum, that fee is:

  • ACH / direct deposit, US only — no fee. Nothing is deducted at any size.
  • Cheque by USPS — no fee. Also nothing, at a $50 minimum.
  • Paxum — $0.50, which is 1% of its $50 minimum.
  • CosmoPayment — $1.00, or 2% of $50.
  • SEPA — $8.95, or 18% of $50.
  • Canada EFT — $8.95, or 18% of $50.
  • Bitcoin and Ethereum — $45.00 on a $200 minimum, or 22.5%.
  • Tether and USD Coin — 35 USDT plus a 0.9% network fee, so roughly the same.
  • Cheque by FedEx — $40 inside the US on a $200 minimum, which is 20%. Internationally it is $80, which is 40%.

A first payout taken in Bitcoin costs nearly a quarter of itself. The same money through ACH or a USPS cheque costs nothing. That gap closes as the amounts grow — $45 on a $2,000 payout is 2.25% — so the crypto and courier options are priced for people moving real sums, not for a first cash-out.

The practical shape of it: if you are in the US, direct deposit is free and arrives in one to three business days. If you are not, Paxum at fifty cents is the cheapest thing on the list, and CosmoPayment at a dollar is the fastest at one to two days. The $200 methods are worth revisiting when a single period clears a few thousand.

What each method costs and how long it takes

The full set, with the minimum you must reach, the fee, and how long the network says it takes once sent:

  • Paxum — $50 minimum, $0.50 fee, 2–5 business days.
  • CosmoPayment — $50, $1.00, 1–2 business days.
  • ACH direct deposit, US only — $50, no fee, 1–3 business days, plus your bank's own processing.
  • Cheque by USPS — $50, no fee, 2–5 business days inside the US, 2–4 weeks international.
  • Canada EFT, Canada only — $50, $8.95, 2–3 business days.
  • SEPA — $50, $8.95, 1–3 business days.
  • Bitcoin — $200, $45.00, 1 business day.
  • Ethereum — $200, $45.00, 1 business day.
  • Tether — $200, 35 USDT plus 0.9% network fee, 1 business day.
  • USD Coin — $200, 35 USDT plus 0.9% network fee, 1 business day.
  • Cheque by FedEx — $200, $40.00 within the US or $80.00 international, 2–5 business days US, 2–4 weeks international.

You can raise your own minimum if you would rather let earnings accumulate: the payout information page accepts anything from $50 up to $50,000. You cannot go below the method's floor.

The two pay periods

Periods run the 1st to the 15th and the 16th to the end of the month. The cutoff is midnight Mountain Time, which the network calls CB Time — worth knowing if you are streaming in Europe or Asia on the last night of a period, because your local date and theirs will not agree.

Payments go out within seven business days of a period ending, and you get an email when one is sent. So money earned on the 3rd is paid around the 22nd or 23rd; money earned on the 20th is paid in the first week of the following month. The lag is the reason the daily payout programme exists.

If you do not reach the minimum inside a period, nothing is lost. The balance rolls forward and keeps rolling until it clears the threshold.

The step most people miss: converting tokens

Tokens do not become money on their own. They sit in your token balance until you convert them, and only converted earnings are paid.

Converting is done from My Profile, under Token Stats. The rate is fixed at 5 cents a token — 1,000 tokens is $50, 10,000 is $500 — and there is no decision to make beyond doing it. What the viewer paid for those tokens is a different and larger number, which token prices sets out.

Two things follow from this, and they account for most of the confusion about Chaturbate payouts:

  • Convert before the period ends, or you wait another fortnight. Tokens still sitting unconverted at midnight on the 15th or the last of the month are not part of that period's payment. They will be paid at the end of the next one.
  • Your "Amount Available" reads $0.00 until you convert. That box is not broken and your earnings are not missing; converted money is the only thing it counts.

Converting also requires active age verification. If your verification has lapsed, the conversion is blocked, and so is everything downstream of it.

Broadcasters working under a studio account do not convert at all — the token balance goes to the studio automatically each night, and the studio settles with the broadcaster.

Daily payouts

The daily programme exists to shorten the wait from a fortnight to a day, for a flat $3.95 per payout.

You have to qualify: two completed normal payouts if you are US-based, four if you are international. Until then the option is not offered, though the network says it will consider adding people who ask. Requests are processed Monday to Friday at 1:00 AM Mountain Time, so a request made on Friday night goes out on Monday.

The minimum is $20 plus the $3.95 fee. That fee is the thing to think about: on a $20 payout it is just under 20%, on $50 it is 8%, on $200 it is 2%. Taking money out daily at the smallest allowed size is the most expensive way to be paid on the platform. Taken weekly at a few hundred dollars it is close to a rounding error.

And the same rule applies as everywhere else here: you can only request a daily payout on money you have already converted.

Discretion

Two details that are hard to find and matter to a lot of people:

  • Cheque envelopes do not mention Chaturbate. The network sends them plain.
  • Neither does the tax form. US broadcasters earning $600 or more in a year get a 1099-MISC, and it carries the parent company's name rather than the site's.

Payouts and tax are between you and the network, and what you owe depends on where you live. What the platform reports about you, and to which authority, is set out separately: a 1099-MISC in the US, DAC7 reporting in the EU. We are a directory, not an accountant, and both pages stop at describing what the platform does.

Common questions

What is the minimum payout on Chaturbate?

$50 for most methods — Paxum, CosmoPayment, ACH, USPS cheque, SEPA and Canada EFT — and $200 for cryptocurrency and FedEx cheques. At 5 cents a token that is 1,000 tokens and 4,000 tokens respectively.

How often does Chaturbate pay?

Twice a month. Periods close on the 15th and the last day of the month, and payment is sent within seven business days of the close. Broadcasters who have completed two payouts in the US, or four internationally, can also request daily payouts for a $3.95 fee.

What happens if I do not reach the minimum?

Nothing is lost. The balance rolls into the next pay period and keeps rolling until it passes the threshold.

Why does my "Amount Available" say $0.00?

Because tokens have to be converted before they count as money. Convert them under Token Stats on My Profile, and the amount appears.

Which Chaturbate payout method is cheapest?

ACH direct deposit inside the US and cheque by USPS are free. Paxum at fifty cents is the cheapest option available internationally. The crypto methods and FedEx cheques cost $40–$45 and only make sense on large payouts.

Do Chaturbate payments look like Chaturbate on my bank statement or post?

Cheque envelopes are sent plain and do not mention the site, and the 1099 tax form issued to US broadcasters carries the parent company's name rather than Chaturbate's.

How much is a Chaturbate token worth to a broadcaster?

5 cents, whatever the viewer paid for it. That rate is fixed and is the same for tips, private shows, spy shows and ticket shows.

How do I get my room listed on JustTheCams?

You already are, from the moment you go live. The directory reads the network's live index, so a room appears here as soon as it starts broadcasting, on the new rooms list and on every tag it has set.
