What we collect

We run this directory on Cloudflare. We do not set advertising cookies or sell personal data. Browsing the directory does not ask for your name, email address or payment details. The network-operated live site has its own account, payment and verification requirements.

  • Essential cookies — one records that you confirmed your age, for 30 days. Another is set only if you pick a category, at the age gate or from the category tabs: it remembers the choice so the home page opens on it, for a year. Choosing Featured removes it. Optional Google Analytics cookies are described separately below.
  • Page and link counts — totals of pages viewed, room-card links opened, outbound links used and signup links clicked, split by the kind of link that brought visitors, test group and a coarse device category (mobile, tablet, desktop or unknown). Only that device category is sent with these counts, not your device model, full browser identifier or screen dimensions. These counts contain no visitor identifier. Room-card counts are aggregated by placement rather than by broadcaster. A signup link click is not a completed registration, and opening a live-room link does not tell us whether you watched its stream.
  • Web analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and load times without cookies or any identifier, noting the page, the referring site and the visitor's country, browser, operating system and device type.
  • Consented directory-to-live measurement — when you allow analytics cookies on this directory, Google Analytics cookies use the shared justthecams.com domain, so the directory and network-operated live subdomain can recognize the same browser. Consented links may carry Google's temporary measurement-linking parameter. We disable incoming and outgoing linking on the directory while analytics storage is denied. Removing analytics cookies through this directory also removes shared cookies accessible here and may reset the live site's measurement identity. Your directory cookie choice does not grant or withdraw consent on the network-operated live site; that site controls its own tracking and policies. Shared cookies and linking do not guarantee a continuous session through network redirects.
  • Google Analytics and optional analytics cookies — on the JustTheCams directory, we use Advanced Consent Mode. Google's tag loads on directory pages after the age gate, with analytics cookie storage denied unless you have opted in. Before you choose, and if you choose No thanks — no cookies, Google still receives limited cookieless signals about consent and activity; these can support modeled reporting. Cookieless does not mean no data is sent: Google receives connection and browser information when its tag loads. Our custom page views and button events use broad page types (such as room, tag or guide) rather than broadcaster names, search terms, raw page titles or campaign URLs. Enhanced Measurement is enabled in our GA4 web stream for automatic interactions such as scrolling, outbound links, site searches, videos, downloads and forms where supported. These automatic events can include URLs, link text, search terms and form metadata, so the broad-page-only limitation applies to our custom events, not all automatic events or the network-operated live site. Advertising features, Google signals and URL passthrough remain disabled in the directory's integration. A signup-link click is not a completed registration. If you choose Allow analytics cookies, Google can set first-party analytics cookies for up to 180 days for more detailed measurement. Your cookie choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days; use Analytics settings in the footer to change it. Withdrawing cookie permission denies analytics storage and removes Google analytics cookies from this directory, but cookieless signals continue. This choice does not control the network-operated live site, which has its own policies and tracking. Cloudflare analytics and the first-party aggregate counts above are separate from Google Analytics. Learn more about Google's use of data, Enhanced Measurement and Consent Mode.
  • How you arrived — a value in your browser's local storage noting the kind of link that brought you here (a search engine, a social link, a campaign link) and a test group. Recognised UTM source and medium values are reduced to categories such as paid search, social or email; raw UTM campaign names, terms and content labels are not kept in this attribution record or added to our outgoing links. Existing ref campaign labels take precedence and are limited to 24 letters, numbers, underscores or hyphens. It is used for 30 days and replaced on your next visit after that; clearing this site's data removes it. It is sent with the page and link counts above and added to our links to the originating platform, so we can see which pages work. Do not put personal information in campaign links; their original URLs can still appear in request logs.
  • Your filter preference — filters start collapsed. If you open or close them, a value in your browser's local storage remembers your choice so the next page looks the same. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and clearing this site's data removes it.
  • Recent rooms — this feature is off until you turn it on. It keeps up to eight room names and their visit times in this browser's local storage. The list shows visits from the last seven days and hides older visits whenever it refreshes. Expired entries are removed from the stored list on normal directory page loads while history is enabled, if browser storage allows the update. Returning with Back or Forward or reopening the panel refreshes the display without recording another visit or rewriting the stored list. Browser storage is not automatically erased while you are away. The list is not uploaded to us or to the network. You can clear it or turn it off from the Recent rooms panel; clearing this site's browser data also removes it. This does not remove separate request logs, analytics signals or network referral records described here.
  • Request logs — our host's records of requests to the site: the page requested, the time, the technical details your browser sent, and what our host can tell about the connection, such as its internet address and approximate location. Kept for up to 7 days.
  • Abuse limits — to stop one connection flooding the site, a scrambled (hashed) form of its internet address is counted for up to 10 minutes, then discarded.
  • Sign-ups and purchases — if you create an account on the originating platform through our links or the platform's pages that carry our name, the platform tells us so that we can be paid, and on a revenue-share plan it tells us again each time that account buys tokens. Each record gives what happened and when, the platform's own reference for the account and for the click that led to it, which of our links was followed if there was one (which can name a room) and the page it was on, the tokens, what was spent and our commission, and on some plans a country and region, the device type and the browser's language setting. We keep these records as our accounts; they are not deleted on a schedule.
  • Messages you send us — if you email one of our addresses, we keep your message and the address it came from so that we can reply and keep a record of notices.

What we pass on

For directory acquisition reporting, our Google Analytics integration sends only a closed set of campaign source and medium categories. For recognized search and social referrers, it sends a normalized site origin, never the referring page path or query. Unknown referrers, raw campaign names, campaign content and campaign terms are not forwarded by our custom integration. Enhanced Measurement and the network-operated live site remain subject to the separate limitations described above.

  • Room lists — to fetch who is live, the site sometimes passes your internet address to the originating platform's listing service, which requires it. We do not store it.
  • Room previews and live-room links — the directory shows previews and links, not an embedded player. Room images load from the originating platform's servers, which receive your connection's details when those images load. Following a live-room link opens a network-operated page; its stream, chat, cookies and tracking are governed by the network's policies.
  • Accounts and tokens — signing up, buying tokens and watching streams are run by the originating platform on its own white-label pages, which carry our name and sit at the live. address of this site. What you enter there, and the cookies those pages set, go to the platform under its privacy policy; this site's server never receives them.

What we do not collect

We hold no account and no payment details, no email address unless you write to us, and we never see a card or a bank statement. The optional Recent rooms list stays in your browser and records directory visits, not whether you watched a stream. First-party counts have no visitor identifier, and our custom Google Analytics events contain no broadcaster names. Separate request logs can contain room URLs until they are deleted, and automatic analytics interactions can include URLs and link text as described above. Google receives cookieless signals and, when you allow analytics cookies, analytics cookie identifiers. A network sign-up or purchase record can name the room that referred the account. Signing up or paying happens on the originating platform under its privacy policy, not ours.
